Todd Alexander Romano Antiques and Decorations was founded in 1999 to showcase Todd's love of antiques and to demonstrate his delightful sense of mixing eclectic and stylish 18th and 19th Century Continental and English Furnishings with 20th Century Classics, Contemporary Art, imaginatively Painted Furniture, and Upholstery, all in a colorful and youthful way.

In addition to his unique collections of antiques, furniture and unusual decorations, he carries a custom collection of wool dhurrie rugs designed by Langham and Fine, exclusive fabrics by Tillet and Northcroft and tabletop and accessories exclusively designed and produced in Italy for Todd Alexander Romano. He also carries hand thrown ceramic lamps by Christopher Spitzmiller, which offer a unique custom like quality and are represented in a multitude of styles and shapes not to mention an exquisite color palette; they are a favorite of many decorators.

Recently relocated to The Fine Arts Building, in the heart of the design district after seven years on Lexington Avenue, his expanded showroom attracts regular traffic from the likes of America’s top decorators and tastemakers, such as Albert Hadley, Mario Buatta, Charlotte Moss, Bunny Williams, Jeffrey Bilhuber, and Miles Redd. They all come to experience his unique vision and well edited assortment that he has become famous for.

Mixing fine antiques with some reproductions, he is highly recommended by his clients for the "right look" created with his great Texan charm, his quirky sense of style, and his attention to detail and quality workmanship. Todd has many interesting and unusual sources and loves to scour the world market places constantly for new ones. Travel is a source of great inspiration for Todd; he interweaves the old and new and adds his special touch to each and every item in the showroom.
